Why settle for generic alerts when you can customize your own? Homeboy allows you to create up to four different search profiles with individual settings and recipients. Take advantage of additional settings to refine your search further.
Steps:
Access the Search Profiles section in your account area
Click “Add” to start a new search profile
Specify your search criteria for more personalized results
Hit “Submit” to activate your new search profile
If you have chosen email to receive alerts in, you’ll start receiving alerts shortly. Did you choose WhatsApp? Then make sure to complete the next step.
Activate WhatsApp Alerts
If you've opted for alerts via WhatsApp, prepare for speedy, real-time updates on the newest housing opportunities. Activation is easy and quick!
Steps:
Did you select WhatsApp as your preferred alert method in your Search Profile?
Open the introductory WhatsApp message you received from Homeboy
Reply with “START” to activate the service
Now as soon as a newly published property fits your search preferences, you’ll receive a WhatsApp message straight away!
Fine-tune Your Search Settings
Dial in on your perfect living situation with our customizable filter options. You can choose to include or exclude specific kinds of offers, such as Short-term Rentals, Premium Offers, WBS Offers, and Flat Share Offers, so you get alerts that truly matter to you.

Go to Search Settings located in your account area
Set your filters based on your housing needs
Click “Save” to update your search criteria
